So sorry I've been a bad blogger. We have had a great 2009 so far. Nick was off for 5 days at the beginning of the month, so we had more great family time. We are trying to get ready for baby #2 coming in the next 1-2 months. It's hard to believe that I am 32 weeks. This pregnancy has flown by and been much harder. I got bigger faster and feel like I have no room left. Everyone asks if emerson knows what's going on and although we have told her I have a baby in my belly and she is going to be a big sister, I don't think she will fully grasp the concept until he is actually here...in her house. We aren't too worried about her and think that she is going to be a big help. I think we have prepared ourselves for the worst, knowing that the first three months are going to be rough.
We are still doing our singing/music class and gymnastics, which emerson just loves. She is just a sweet girl and we feel so lucky that she is ours. She amazes us everyday with her knowledge and always ask, "how does she know that?" She can count to ten and can spell her name (by herself!). We are working on dressing our self and maybe start potty training soon. I was going to start now, but don't want to go through all the work and have her regress after the baby comes.
As can be seen emerson loves arts and crafts and I am trying to step back and realize that all big messes can be cleaned up.
