Baby update

I went to the doctor today and I am 4 cm and could go at any time. I feel like I have been ready for a couple of weeks now because my body is so physically tired, but it's not in my hands. I am being induced tuesday march 3rd if he doesn't decided to make an appearance by then. At least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now! For the last couple of days I have been feeling like I could be pregnant forever. We are all excited to meet him and everyday emerson says, "come out brother!"

A visit from Gran

Emerson's gran was here all last week and we had so much fun visiting with her. She hadn't seen her in 9 months, but was comfortable and happy within five minutes of her being here. We spent lots of time singing songs. Gran learned all the words to our songs from singing class and gymnastics. They even made up some songs of their own. It was nice to get some help around the house and with emerson. It's always weird to have help because we are so used to doing everything on our own. We had lots of good dinners and conversations. We wish gran lived closer, but look forward to seeing her in June! Thanks for the great trip gran! Emerson asks about you everyday.

Our Valentine's Day

I wanted to do something special for emerson on valentine's day because I always remember my mom having a special present for me. I decided to decorate her place-mat with cute sayings that nick and I say to her. Not sure how much she enjoyed the hearts, but she was excited about the suckers. This valentine's day was the 10 year anniversary of Nick and my's first date. We couldn't believe it had been 10 years and how fast it all has flown by. We love each other more today than we ever thought was possible and are looking forward to the next 10 years watching our two little ones grow up.
Emerson also got a special valentine package from mimi and pa. They built her a monkey and put a recording in it with there voices on it. She loves her monkey...and pushing the button over and over again.

Nothing new

Nothing new to really report, just waiting for the baby to come. I feel like it could be any day now, just wish there was a way to know for sure. We have everything ready and emerson keeps saying, "come out brother!" Since i am 36 weeks I can now tell her that it is okay for him to come out. We're also getting excited for emerson's 2nd birthday. I can't believe she will be two. We have some fun times ahead with the two of them and can't wait to see how it all plays out.
